The XXX Corps Military Remembrance Convoy is a remarkable tribute; a moving living-history tour that retraces the ground advance of Operation Market Garden in 1944. From 14 to 21 September 2024, roughly 250 authentic WWII-military vehicles, 45 motorcycles and more than 700 participants, many being sons or grandsons of the liberators, moved from Leopoldsburg (Belgium) to Bemmel (Netherlands), following the original Market Garden corridor.
For spectators and participants alike, it’s like an old black-and-white photograph coming to life: historic tanks rumble through towns, veterans-inspired crews don period uniforms, and solemn wreath-layings honour those who sacrificed their lives.
We are proud to say that BAIV BV was strongly represented in this event: both in the organisation and by contributing multiple vehicles. Our participation underscored our deep commitment to preserving military heritage and to honor freedom.
