Class A restored WW-II US built self-propelled artillery
After an extensive 2-year Class A restoration in our Workshops in Nederweert this WWII veteran is brought back to his former glory. The Priest is equipped with all the characteristic attributes and its handles like it just left the factory in 1945. This is a high-end restoration which can been seen in every detail.
We like to present you a gorgeous recently Class A restored and finished project being a genuine Priest M7B1, USA 40172609-S built by the Pressed Steel Car Company in Chicago (Hegewisch Station) USA.
This example is discovered in by us in Germany in May 2018. It is certainly one of the last remaining Priests and without any doubt, the best we have ever discovered.
The Priest is equipped with the original magnificent Ford GAA engine making an absolute great and reliable unit! Surviving Priests are very rare compared to for instance Sherman tanks.
In June 2024 we brought it back to the beaches of Normandy to make its first public appearance at the 80th Anniversary of D-DAY.
