This M2A1 Howitzer, originally built in 1944, was reconstructed from numerous separate components and painstakingly restored to full historical authenticity. The piece will soon take its place of honor at the Veterans Monument Park in the Historic Triangle of Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown.

Comprehensive reconstruction and historically accurate restoration initiated after component assessment started in January 2024

Condition After Restoration

Fully reconstructed and Class A restored to authentic 1944 configuration ready for delivery in July 2024.
